WOW...POW POW! Just when we think we've had our best of winter...it pulls us back in! 9" of new snow on Aspen Mountain last night and 7.2" in Snowmass...what a season!  Four completely separate and extremely diverse mountains - Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk (home of the XGames) and Snowmass, more than 5,300 acres of terrain...extraordinary!














Come join us...the snow is FINE! (By the way, it is still coming down as I write this blog.)

When we talk about the best of winter in Aspen, well it doesn't JUST include winter sports.  Below you will see a LONG list of exciting activities for the remainder of February and all of March 2014.  The diversity of activities is similar to the diversity of our 4 mountains, everything from Opera from the New York Met on screen at The Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, to the Santa Fe Ballet, JAS Downstairs at The Little Nell, and many other activities you can enjoy if skiing and snowboarding are not what you have in mind when visiting our magical town.  And as you can see there is no shortage of music, from the Bud Light Concert Series, to Randy Newman at the Wheeler and everything in between...music is everywhere for everyone.



BUT...if you are into skiing and snowboarding you will see that this list also includes so many activities in those areas as well.  From Rail Jam to the Power of Four Mountaineering Race, Battle of the Bowls at Aspen Highlands, and the NASTAR Championships, plenty to see, plenty to do.  Don't forget to take a look at the ACES Naturalist Nights at Hallam Lake and snowshoe tours, incredible.  So, like the snow, winter activities are still going strong here in Aspen/Snowmass.  COME JOIN US!
