Reserve Tastings

The Snowmass Mammoth Fest is officially
presented by the 10th Annual Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest, and is featuring
more great music, Late Night shows, and more. The 2013 festival will feature
two days and nights of music and continue the traditional weekend of specialty
chili and microbrew competitions with tastings.

Music...Events....Food&Wine Classic - All part of 2013 Summer Aspen/Snowmass
FOOD & WINE magazine will present its 31st Anniversary FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen to be held June 14 - 16, 2013. This is an annual weekend of cooking demonstrations, food samplings and wine tastings - all in the spectacular setting of Aspen, Colorado. You'll see some of the world's most famous chefs...including many of those we all see and love on the food network channels. Aspen is a spectacular backdrop for all the white cooking demo and wine tasting tents that will be placed around town!
Snowmass is the place to be for FREE music. Snowmass Village and JAS (Jazz Aspen/Snowmass)have joined together since 1994 to bring us summers full of free concerts that everyone, visitors and locals alike, enjoy! Throughout the summer there is a wide variety of musical genres presented, everything from reggae to classical jazz. The concerts are held at the end of the Snowmass Village Mall on Snowmass Mountain. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit in. Food is allowed in the fenced in area. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be carried into the fenced in area, but beverages will be available for purchase in the fenced in area. Dogs and their owners have a designated area on the hillside above Woodrun V.
Music starts at 6:15 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.

This hilarious event is one not to miss. The 6th annual Schneetag event (pronounced Sch-knee Tog) invites teams of four to create a craft that they will pilot down a slope at “Spider Sabich” and attempt to float across a 30x20 foot pond. Every team has a theme and will perform a skit before they descend. This event is just as ridiculous and entertaining as it sounds.

Elk Camp Gondola and Chairlift at Snowmass

2013 SPRING JAM - 13TH Annual March 21st – 31st
If you want to be part of the premier spring festival in the Rockies the Spring Jam is the place to be for Big Air, concerts and the Battle in the Bowls. All the activities are FREE and open to the public!
Skiers and snowboarders from the all around the country will be in Snowmass to compete for the national titles in various divisions of the Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships.
The Bud Light Big Air Fridays (March 22,29 – 2PM at Snowmass, Fanny Hill) has become a tradition on Fanny Hill in Snowmass, and attracts competitors from across the nation to show off their high-flying aerials. This year be sure to watch the Little Air competition which follows immediately, kids are invited to compete on a special “little air” jump for prizes!
The Fallen Friends memorial (March 23 – 12Noon) at Aspen Highlands is the chance for locals to rock their favorite costume and compete on a one-of-a-kind course. Proceeds from this benefit AVSC Scholarship Funds, register at www.aspensnowmass.com/springjam.
KickAspen Big Air (March 23 – 8PM at Aspen Mountain) is an invitational event, under the lights, where skiers and snowboarders compete on a 60-foot jump at the base of Aspen Mountain-easy to walk to from all parts of town.
Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series (March 22 – 3PM – Snowmass base village) is the place to be, featuring Brett Dennen and his group, if you want to hear “feel good” music and are reading to scoot your boots to his dance tunes.
Helly Hansen’s Battle of the Bowls at Aspen Highlands (March 30 – 9:30 AM) takes place on an exciting course specially designed by Chris Davenport. If you’d like to compete, make some righteous turns in the pow pow, register to do battle at www.aspensnowmass.com/battle. All the teams will meet at the end at Highlands Pizza to celebrate and swap tall tales!
Jammin’ on the corner (March 30) head to the corner of Cooper and Galena in Aspen for the Hi-Fi CORE PARTY at 8PM with funky sounds of GroupLove and special guest DJ Naka G!
Snowboarders go head-to-head to see who will take home rail glory at the Smith Grudgematch Rail Jam (March 31, Buttermilk), and you can catch all the action from the deck at Bumps, registration to compete is free at Radio Boardshop in Aspen.
Terrain Park Boot Camp ( March 23 & 24/30 & 31 – 12Noon, Snowmass)is the place for all of you beginners to learn rails, boxes and jumps from professional coaches and athletes….don’t be scared…get out there and try it!
